My Why

As I continue to make a better version of my WHY from the book Find Your WHY by Simon Sinek I would like to keep it here as a reminder of why I want to grow.

My WHY: To make a positive difference in someone's day so that they will want to pass that feeling on to another.

Why Sales?

Why Sales? Sales was originally not somewhere I expected to end up, but honestly, it called out to me. I originally started in Computer Engineering then later switched to Finance which is still currently my Major. But I feel that Sales is something that can stand equal to Finance in terms of my adaptability and my skills. My motivation, determination, and resilience to become better at anything I do is why I know I will excel in sales as well. I am ready to go beyond and make sales my soul and learn from every interaction I take part in. In life, everything is about selling yourself whether it's with making friends or getting that new job. It is the cornerstone of all conversations.

Sales is a field where you can't let fear take over and tell you that you can't. That's exactly why I am here I'll never back down in the face of fear and am determined to push through any obstacle that stands in front of me. While many think that sales is all about natural talent and charisma, that can't be taught/learned they are completely wrong just because some may have a natural calling towards sales doesn't mean they are going to be the best out there. It all comes from good guidance and the opportunity to learn from your mistakes. Mistakes define the person you are today, no salesperson has gone out and has been perfect every single time even if you didn't make a sale you can be a winner by learning what you could have done better. "A winner is just a loser who tried one more time."(George M. Moore Jr)
